Stacy
was born July 31, 1975, in Pensacola, Florida and raised in a
military family found that found her many places such as
Florida, California, Guam, and Hawaii. She finally settled down
during high school in Jacksonville, Florida. After serving in
the
Edward H. White High School
Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps,
she realized a dream she'd had since the age of 12 and entered
the U.S. Navy on September 13, 1994, attending recruit training
at
RTC Great Lakes, Illinois.
Upon graduation from RTC, she started her specialty training at
Yeoman "A" School in
Meridian, Mississippi.
Stacy was selected for commissioning
through the
Seaman to Admiral-21 program
the year of its inception and left for Rhode Island in August
2002, for six months of
BOOST and
two months at the Naval Science Institute. In May of 2003, she
transferred to her current duty station at Virginia Military
Institute, Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit.
Additionally, she is a full-time student at an
"all-female" school in Staunton, Virginia.
She is currently slated to separate from the Navy in July 2005
upon which time she will finally be a civilian! While in the Navy, Stacy earned the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist insignias. Her awards include the Navy Achievement Medal (two awards), Good Conduct Medal (three awards) the Kosovo Campaign Medal and Kosovo NATO Medal, the NATO Medal, and numerous unit awards.
Keith was born in Los Angeles, California and was raised in Massachusetts and Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1983 with a B.S. in Business Administration and was commissioned a Navy Ensign in 1984 after completing Aviation Officers’ Candidate School. He earned his Naval Aviator “Wings of Gold” in 1985. From 1985 to 1989, Keith was assigned to Patrol Squadron Forty Eight where he served as Aviation Safety Officer, Assistant Operations Officer, Tactics Officer and Personnel Officer. He was designated as a P-3C Patrol Plane Commander, Mission Commander and Instructor Pilot and completed two deployments to Adak, Alaska and one to Cubi Point, Republic of the Philippines. After his initial assignment, Keith was assigned to Patrol Squadron Thirty One where he served as the Pilot Coursewares Officer, Quality Assurance Officer and Standardization Pilot. During this tour, he earned a Masters of Business Administration from San Jose State University. Keith served as Assistant Navigator onboard USS RANGER (CV 61) from early 1992 until her decommissioning in August 1993. During this tour he qualified as Officer of the Deck (Underway) and earned his qualification as a Surface Warfare Officer. Keith reported to the Bureau of Naval Personnel in 1993 where he served as the Special Assistant for Line Selection Boards until 1995. Following P-3C refresher training in late 1995, he reported to Patrol Squadron Forty aboard Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Washington where he served as Training Officer and Maintenance Officer and deployed to Diego Garcia and Misawa, Japan. Keith then reported to the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations’ Office of Special Programs where he served as a program Requirements Officer and the Branch Head for Access Control. He then became the Executive Officer of Patrol Squadron Forty Seven (VP-47) in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii in June 2000 and assumed the duties of Commanding Officer in May 2001. Following a very demanding preparation cycle for Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Keith returned to the staff of the Chief of Naval Operations’ Office of Special Programs where he served as a Special Projects and Fleet Liaison Officer until his retirement from active duty in October 2004. Keith is currently employed as a navy civilian in the Special Programs Division as the Security and Information Technology Branch Head. Keith's military personal awards included the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), the Navy Commendation Medal (fours awards), and the Navy Achievement Medal.
We were married on Sunday, 17 October 2004, in St. Augustine, Florida. We have a son, Kellen, who lives with his mom in Jacksonville, FL. Additionally, we have two cats, Precious and Stewart, a dog, Maximus, and a tank full of fish. |
