Above is my friend James (Jim) Marchetti
and his wife Lisa at my change of command in May 2002. I have
known Jim since we first met in 1985 in VP-48 and have stayed in contact
since. He is now a big-wig network specialist. In fact his official
title at BGI
is Global Platform Manager, IT Business Continuity Management. |

John O'Sullivan (or
Sully) is a Navigator by trade as well as the Fleet's premier Operations
Officer. Here we were visiting Lake Tawata (West of Misawa, Japan)
in 1997
and Sully decided to hone his skills by navigating the 100 yards from
where he stands in the first photo to the pier (as shown by the grin of
accomplishment in the second).

Here's
my first cousin Phil Blaine. I took this picture when I was visiting
him on my way to reporting to VP-40 in late 1995. He is a true adventurer who is
widely traveled and just a barrel of laughs. Got a joke? He's got
10!

This is a shot of Hamp All (AKA William Hamilton All IV). We
served in VP-31 and VP-40 together. Hamp is now a retired Commander (O-5)
after completing his tour as the CINCPACFLEET Executive Transport Department
Officer-in-Charge. |

This is a shot of Mike Andersen who is relaxing while checking on wine
futures. Mike is an Educational Specialist for the Navy and is one
of our long time friends who shares our love of wine and food. His
beautiful wife, Sharon, is retired from Continental
Airlines after working as a lead flight attendant. |
This
is Casey Brennan in 1995. He is a Physician's Assistant in the Navy and is
currently stationed in La Madalenna Italy. We served on USS RANGER (CV 61)
together where Casey actually qualified to drive the carrier alongside a
fueling ship! He also has served on the White House staff. |
