Our world was blessed with the appearance of Hope Emma Bluestein at 1321 on 8 March. She was born at 27 weeks so she was approximately 12 weeks premature. Emma was given no hope of survival by any doctors through the entire pregnancy. They said she'd have no lungs. She proved them all wrong and was able to maintain blood oxygenation for some time while on her ventilator. She did well throughout the day but started to decline during the night. She passed in Stacy's arms at 0125 on 9 March. She was truly an angel and showed us how deeply we could love someone in such a short time. She is sorely missed. Below are some photos of Emma.
